🧳WHAT IT TAKES
  • —Source-of-funds and background checks
  • —No residence requirement
  • —Approval by the migration authority within 30 business days
⚠️THE CATCH
Buying citizenship doesn't lower your tax: companies pay up to 35%. And a court annulled the decree behind the program in June 2026 — the government is appealing. The cheap route is a rentista residence (≈ €60 fee).
🧾EXIT TAX
You own 100%, so France's exit tax on your shares applies. Outside the EU you usually have to request the deferral and give guarantees. It's wiped if you keep your shares 2 years after leaving (5 if they're worth over €2.57M).

THE VERDICT

So… are you leaving?
